COVID-19 Risk Management Guidelines for Visitors
AIM to minimize the risk of exposure of our Heritage Centre visitors and volunteers to COVID-19.
OPENING TIMES for visitors to remain unchanged (Tuesdays and first Sunday of the month, 10.00 am to 3.00 pm).

follow directions from volunteer managers
*we have a limit of 20 in the building
must still be made online, or by completing a research request form at the Heritage Centre. “Do it yourself” or assisted research will not be permitted on visitor open days. Our volunteers can assist with research requests on your behalf on their delegated access day (separate from our visitors day to minimise risk). Click on “Research Facilities” and fill in the relevant form. We will do our best to help.
EXHIBITS & EQUIPMENT USE
visitors will not be permitted to use Heritage Centre equipment and handling of exhibits will only be permitted with gloved hands (disposable gloves supplied), supervised.
PRE-BOOKED GROUP VISITS
must be on days other than routine visitor open days and days reserved for volunteers.
PLEASE DO NOT VISIT IF:
you are feeling unwell, particularly if you have a cold or flu like symptoms. AND/OR
within the last 14 days, you have been in contact with someone who is known or suspected to be infected with COVID-19, or you have travelled overseas. AND/OR
you are undergoing testing for COVID-19
